Pattern Description:
This hat was made to use up some of the scraps in my huge yarn stash. One color was from my oldest daughter's sweater, another from a shawl I made for my friend, the rest from a patchwork garter stitch blanket I made. It is a quick and fun knit, and (if you're like me), you already have enough yarn laying around so you don't have to buy any!
Gauge:
15.5 sts = 4 inches.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Fits a 21-23 inch adult or teen head.
Materials:
- 5 types of scrap yarn (worsted weight), Circular size 8 (16 inch) knitting needle, and size 8 double pointed needles for finishing the top of the hat.
You Will Also Need:
- A few cute buttons for trim, if desired.
