Basic Skills Necessary:

  • do stranded knitting with at most two colors in one round
  • weave in yarn ends and tails during knitting

Pattern Description:

The last Olympic games were the inspiration for this fun runners cap.
There are two different runners fighting to win on the typical red running track on which you can see start block numbers 1 and two.
Some running shoes are in the peerie (= border pattern) and a number 1 T-shirt completes the body of the beanie.
At the top are 8 tiny runners.
As it(tm)s Fair Isle there are at most two colors in one row.
So it is easier to knit than you think!

My version was knitted with 4-ply sock yarn of different manufacturers.
This beanie is the ideal project to lower your stash ;-)

Enjoy and happy knitting!
