- K2Tog - knit 2 stitches together
- basic crochet for the brim
Pattern Description:
The pattern is for size 6-12 months, but my little model is actually closer to 1 1/2 years, so the hat will fit for quite awhile!
The pattern includes instructions for knitting the flower as welll.
It is knit in the round, so there is nothing to irritate the child's head and no seams for you to sew!
Gauge:
Size 8 needle - 19 st and 38 rounds = 4 inches in garter stitch.
Size 9 needle - 18 st and 34 rounds = 4 inches in garter stitch.
Materials:
- 1 skein - baby sport yarn (Bernat Softee Baby used)
- scraps of baby sport yarn in contrasting colors for edging and leaf
- US #8 and 9 16-inch circular needle
- US #8 double pointed needles
- G/6 crochet hook

- row marker
