Rose Fever is a lace cowl or scarf that can be worked in many weights of yarn, but is intended to be knit in lace weight yarn. The outside stitches are like the thorns of the rose and the center motif represents the leaves.
This pattern is a rectangle worked in one piece from end to end.
Materials List
1 (3) skeins of Malabrigo Lace (50g/470 yds, laceweight single-ply Merino) for cowl (scarf)
5US needles (3.75mm)

1 button or shawl pin (size will be determined after the piece is knit)
Sewing needle
Thread
Size of Cowl: 11"x22" (can easily be made longer or shorter by increasing or decreasing
the number of pattern repeats.
28 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in Thorn Pattern
