Pattern Description:
This cowl has a lovely combination of vertical ribs and horizontal stripes. It's unisex and a great one for even beginners to tackle.
The cowl is knit flat and will need to be sewn up with a tapestry needle in the final step.
The finished size measures approximately 22" x 8" and is quite stretchy due to its ribbed design.
This pattern is known as the Destination Cowl. I chose to give it a more descriptive title for search purposes.
Gauge:
4.5 stitches, 1 row per inch in stockinette stitch on size 8 needles
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- The finished cowl measures 22" around x 8" in height
Materials:
- Size 8 straight knitting needles
- 200 yds of Worsted Weight yarn such as Malabrigo Rios
- Tapestry needle
