I had one grandma that knit & quilted and one the crocheted & made clothes. When I was 5 - one taught me to knit - one to crochet. When I was 7 I learned to sew and when I was 12 I learned to quilt. I've tried just about every craft at one point. Now I have a blog and website dedicated to my journey with knitting and I design knitwear accessories for self/home/and children. I also design handmade jewelry based in sterling silver and gem stones.View all patterns by designer (7) »
Again, I have been designing with the Honeycomb stitch pattern. This time it is intertwined with a little garter stitch and a ribbon yarn to give you this lovely winter fashion scarf. This scarf is truly one of the easiest pieces that I've designed in a while, but it gives you the look of something that takes far more experience and time. It is just a little trick of the eye and a little help from the easy ribbon yarn. This makes a great gift for a special teen in your life or even as a project for a teen that is new to the art of knitting. Then on the other hand, perhaps you want an evening scarf to wear with an evening coat - this will give a little warmth, but it will also compliment the slightly dressier look that you are going for during a night out on the town. When tied, one of the ruffle sections makes a lovely rosette at the neck.
Peace and joy to ya all...
