This hat is unisex and reversible for 2 different looks (one side has columns of raised ribs and the other large chunky loops of "faux stockinette stitch" without having to change needle sizes!).
The hat is knit flat and sewn up in the final step. You will need about 100 to 140 yards of Worsted weight yarn to make the hat with. You can make it in one solid color or have the bottom edge in a contrasting color than the rest of the hat.
The finished hat will fit head sizes from 21" to 24" and is very stretchy due to its ribbed design.
This pattern is also known as the Greenpoint Hipster Beanie but felt it was better to include a description of the hat in the title for search purposes.
5 stitches, 1 row per inch in stockinette stitch on size 8 needles

I've been knitting and crocheting for about 25 years now and learned these crafts as a small child from my grandmother. My hands haven't been idle since. In addition to designing knitting and crochet patterns I run the Etsy shop MelsBellsHats.
