Skill Level:

little skill level requirement Novice

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knitting, purling, and a simple seam

Pattern Description:

The Retro Lady Ear Warmer is a great cold weather accessory and it's surprisingly easy to knit! I was inspired by the awesome turban hats and scarves from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s when I made up this fun pattern. It looks like a headband, but is wide enough to cover your ears when the cold winds blow.

The easy combination of knitting & purling makes this a wonderful project for all levels of knitters!

You will need about 50 grams of worsted weight yarn - I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd Wool, but you can substitute any yarn you like!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • onesize

  • For this project you will need a set of US8/5mm knitting needles, 50 grams of worsted weight yarn, a tapestry needle, and scissors.
