Pattern Description:

I Love Vintage and Retro style. I decided it was high time to add a cable knit headband to my accessories and set to making one that would suit retro 'up do' hairstyles. Clearly one was not enough as I ended up designing two different styles. The cable twist and the cable plait.

Great for rockabilly, pin up, and photography.

I've had to make several for my friends who just "have to have one" so I thought it would be a great to write down the patterns so you can make them for yourself and your friends, too!

Enjoy, and pop on over to to let me know what you think of the patterns and share some photos for the Jam Made community album on flickr!

I decided I must teach myself to crochet and set about achieving that in 2004. I adore creative expression in any form that grabs me. Craft, art, poetry, planting a garden, playing/singing with the kids.
