Pattern Description:

A brilliant bag made from recycled denim perfect as a
knitting bag, a purse, a carryall for the beach or a couture
alternative to a plastic bag.

You won't be able to resist the gorgeous texture, roomy size,
and comfortable straps that are perfect to carry your newest

Notes: Bottom of bag is worked flat first, then sts are picked up from all sides to work the body of the bag in the round.


22 sts = 4" (10 cm) in Garter st
1 rep = 21/2" in Cable pat

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished Size Base: 5 x 15" Height: 12" Straps: 24" in length, 12" in height


  • Yarn: Kollage Yarns "Riveting Worsted", [95% cotton, 5% other; 163 yds (149m), 31/2 oz (100 g)] color #8106 cloud denim6 hanks.
  • Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm) 24" or 32" circular needles, or size to obtain gauge, plus a spare needle for use in 3-need bind off
