This lovely rectangular shaped Aran wrap is worked sideways.
The 32 rows of the pattern are written out in full. As there is no shaping, the 32 rows are simply repeated to the required length.
My wrap is worked in 8ply yarn but this pattern would also suit thicker or thinner yarns. Please note that altering the yarn will alter the width. The length can easily be altered to suit you.

22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.
My mum taught me to knit when I was just four years old and I have been addicted ever since.
I now work (if you can call it work!) as a pattern writer and technical editor, both for companies here in Australia and for my own business.
I love the creative process and using a simple ball of yarn and a pair of needles to make something gorgeous yet practical.
