I've crafted all my life. I learned to knit and sew at about the age of 4 and haven't looked back. I made my own wedding dress, and I spent many happy years as a designer/tutor for UK papercraft companies and I have written magazine projects for papercraft. knitting and sewing. Now happily retired, I spend most of my time crafting! :)View all patterns by designer (33) »
This is a really easy and quick to knit, super cute baby hat than can be completed in an evening.
It is vintage style brought right up to date with chunky, variegated yarn and plaited ties.
It is knit flat on two needles.
The pattern gives instruction for both binding off and seaming,if this is your preferred method AND a detailed photo- tutorial for the three-needle bind off method, which means you don't have to sew a single seam!! If you have never tried three needle bind off, you will LOVE this method
The pattern includes yarn suggestions and internet shops where you can buy them -(US, Canada and UK), but any standard weight chunky yarn will do.
My patterns are written in standard uk and american terms with clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you.
