This interesting twist on an standard beanie hat is designed to show off the subtle variations in semi-solid yarn, but would work well with both solid and striped yarn as well.
The hat is knit on circular needles or dpns and uses provisional cast on and stretchy cast off. There are clear guidelines on methods of doing both.
20 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch
