Punto hat uses a simple stitch pattern wherein the contrast colored yarn stands out as dots (or Punto in Spanish) against the main colored yarn. Use variegated yarn to get a colorful look without fiddling with too many yarns or choose a solid or semi-solid yarn as your contrast yarn for a less funky look.
The size specified is the finished hat circumference. Choose a size which gives you no ease or an inch of negative ease.
One skein of each of Mal Worsted and Seleccion Privada should be enough for a small cowl and a hat.
18 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches in Punto stitch pattern
100 yards of Worsted weight
