Despite telling my mom years ago that I would never become a knitter, I took up a pair of needles in 2009 and haven’t put them down since! Knitting is an outlet for my creative energy and my desire to always be making things with my hands. My goal as a designer is to create unique knitting patterns; inspired by the beautiful, wild and rugged landscape of the Pacific Northwest--a place I loves to explore and am privileged to call home. I strives to write patterns that are easy to follow and simply enjoyable both to knit and to wear.
Keeping busy by day as a wife, mother of three and homemaker, I love to spend my evenings curled up on the couch with a cup of coffee, knitting, planning and sketching my never-ending design ideas. :)
If you have an questions about any of my patterns, would like to become a test knitter or to set up a trunk show, please feel free to contact me! I’d love to help!
Designed to accompany the Professor Bean pattern, these cozy socks are a quick and easy knit. They are charmingly simple, with a delightful twist of decorative buttons along each side of the gusset, plus a few garter stitch ribs for interest.
This is a very beginner friendly pattern and when paired with a Professor Bean, would make a perfect handmade, last minute baby shower gift.
Pattern includes helpful photos and instructions including notes on all the techniques described.
6 stitches and 8 rows = 1 inch in stockinette stitch
