Hello! I have 4yo and 6yo sons, and I'd LOVE to make this beanie for them... any tips on how to size up? I'm a beginner knitter and not quite sure how to go about that. :) Thanks!

Hey there!

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I don't check Craftsy very often and for some reason it just notified me of your msg....

It really depends on how big their heads are. You could always tried using a bulky yarn and bigger needles and keep the pattern the same (go for the biggest size). Or if you are feeling adventurous, you could go the route of measuring their heads and knitting a gauge swatch, then figuring out how many stitches per inch you were knitting and adjust the pattern from there. The decreases might be a bit tricky, but if you are up for a little math, it would be worth the effort. :) I hope that helps a bit!

Happy knitting!

Chelsea
