This Beanie is worked in a twelve row cable pattern although cables are only worked in two of those rows. The crown shaping rows are done in rib.
The plaited cable pattern in this beanie matches my lady's plaited cable jacket, the pattern for which can also be bought on Craftsy.

35 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over cable patt, using 4.00mm needles.
My mum taught me to knit when I was just four years old and I have been addicted ever since.
I now work (if you can call it work!) as a pattern writer and technical editor, both for companies here in Australia and for my own business.
I love the creative process and using a simple ball of yarn and a pair of needles to make something gorgeous yet practical.
