Pattern Description:
Finished knitted items may be sold.
Inspired by the film, "The Piano", these fingerless gloves are knitted "flat" on straight needles.
The thumbs are knitted separately and set in into the sewn side seams. Picot edging decorates
each end and a threaded knit cord ties around the wrist. The yarn used is double knitting and you
can of course use any colour yarn you wish.
Gauge:
Approximately 22 stitches and 30 rows = 10cm square (4")
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Approx. 7" (18 cm) long x 3.5" (9 cm) across. Will fit small to medium women's hand.
Materials:
- 4mm (US 6) pair knitting needles x2 50g balls Stylecraft Pure Luxury Merino shade slate 3638 or shade merlot 3643 ( you will only need a small amount from the second ball ). x2 50g balls Rowan Classic Silk Wool DK shade limewash 301 blunt tapestry needle for sewn seams x1 50g ball Debbie Bliss cashmerino dk #11 apple green
