Scarflettes are a quick knit and make fun gifts. They are great for cold weather to keep necks toasty warm without the bulk of a long scarf.
For this pattern, you will need to know the knit stitch and purl stitch.
The pattern consists of 8 repeating rows and it is recommended that you keep track of each row by using a row counter.
Sizing can be altered by using different weight yarn and changing the size of the knitting needles. Following the pattern below will create a scarflette that measures approximately 5 inches wide and 19 inches long.
This pattern can also be modified to make a full length
scarf; simply continue to knit to desired length and do not add buttons. Be sure to purchase extra yarn (3-4 times more will be needed).

I've been knitting all my life and currently spend most of my waking hours thinking about new ways to knit classic accessories. I love to spin my own yarn, learn new knitting techniques and get creative with felted wool.
