I wanted a cozy, warm mitt with no open, lacy holes to let the cold air in. Yet, plain stockinette or garter was not quite the look I wanted. I saw this stitch pattern and fell in love. So simple and easy to work! It uses basic stitches, so even a newcomer to knitting can work it and get a great pair of warm mitts.
I used Peaches "n Creme In Soft Blue, and love they way they feel. Soft and squishy, which seems to hold the heat pretty well, considering they are cotton.
A quick knit that uses less than one skein of an economical yarn! And washable too!

I've been crafting since I was teeny tiny! I knit, crochet, and am a professional cross stitcher. I quilt, sew, and bead. I LOVE cats, and own 1 Doberman. Unfortunately, I am currently on a tight budget, so bargains and deals are definitely up my alley.
