Alternate blue and white beads using red yarn in a simple knit and purl pattern. The stripes of beads remind us of the U.S. flag proudly waving in the breeze.
Gauge:
8 stitches per inch over stockinette stitch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 4 sizes in small through extra-large adult
Materials:
- 275 - 500 yards fingering weight sock yarn
- Size 1 US (2.25 mm) knitting needles, or size needed to obtain planned gauge; your choice of double point or circular needle(s)
- 8 - 14 g of size 8/0 glass seed beads in each of 2 colors
