Pattern Description:

Outerbridge is a buttoned cowl and fingerless mitts knit up with squishy cables and seed stitch, perfect for adding an extra touch of warmth under a jacket on a chilly late fall or early spring day. This pattern knits up very quickly in a worsted weight yarn, making it an excellent choice for a last minute gift.


Cowl: 18.5 st and 36 rows per 4" in pattern, blocked.

Mitts: 24 st and 40 rows per 4" in pattern, blocked.


  • 1 skein Malabrigo Rios (Teal Feather)
  • US size 7 straight needles (cowl)
  • US size 6 double pointed needles (mitts)

You Will Also Need:

  • 3 1" buttons
  • cable needle
  • 2 stitch markers (optional)

Suggested yarn:

200 yards of Worsted weight
