Pattern Description:

Orit said, "What does a persona have to do to get a pattern named after her?" I said she need but ask. Orit is a sock knitter, so this is an appropriate pattern for her. Especially appropriate because Orit means "little light" in Hebrew, and these socks are the color of little flames. The size is easily adjustable by merely changing the needle size. Fun, easy colorwork. I can see these in a variety of color combinations. What will you choose?


33 sts and 30 rnds = 4 inches using #2 needle

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Teen and Women's Small (Make larger by increasing needle size to 3 or 4)


  • 1 ball each of KnitPicks Palette: Golden Heather and Cornmeal 1 skein Inji Kismet Fibers: Zenpyou Fire Opal Sock (Will use only a partial skein) One long circular needle, two circular needles, or 5 DPNs, size #2 (for Small) Stitch marker Tapestry needle
