  • circular knitting
  • working with two colors at the same time

Pattern Description:

This funky hat pattern will make you look twice. Are the colors moving? Are the stitches moving? It's a mystery and a thick hat all rolled in one. So add a bit of warm intrigue to your cold wintery days and keep all your non knitting friends shocked and awed with this deceptively simple hat.


13 stitches by 24 rows in 2x2 rib over 4 square inches.


  • Half a skein of a yarn main color
  • Half a skein of yarn in a contrast color
  • A set of 4 or 5 US size 8 Double Point needles
  • 1 16 inch US size 8 circular needle

You Will Also Need:

  • A stitch marker
  • A tapestry needle
  • A pom-pom maker or cardboard to do it yourself

500 yards of Worsted weight
