This shawl was designed for an easy, straightforward knit while on a road trip holiday to Wales. It is an ideal choice for beginner lace knitters to tackle their first lace shawl project or for a quick last minute gift.
This shawl is triangular construction knit from the top down. It can be knit from one generous skein of sock yarn and as the border can be started at the end of any 20-row lace repeat, the size can easily be modified.

I live in London, England and am constantly inspired by the culture and fashion of this amazing city. I have always loved the feel of yarn or fabric in my hands and enjoyed creating things by hand since I was a little girl. I now look forward to teaching my own two little girls to create and follow their inspiration.
My designs are often inspired by my latest must-have yarn or small details that I notice around me. For me, the design process is all about the pleasure of knitting and I like to strike a balance of interesting vs. relaxing to knit. The most important thing though, is to create something you’ll love to wear or are proud to give as a gift. I love the idea of helping people to create something beautiful.
I am always wondering about new techniques, how to do things better and am intrigued by new ideas – curious by name and curious by nature.
