These fingerless mitts are the first wearable item that I have ever knit without a pattern. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, so I thought that I would share my notes with those of you who (1) are looking for an extremely quick knit, and (2) have small/medium size hands. Of course, as with any pattern (and I by no means view this as a pattern as much as a guide) you can always adjust the number of stitches and increases to fit the size of your hand. I hope that this helps some of you with your last-minute gift-making (or perhaps you'll take time to make a little something for yourself like I did). HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
200 yards of Fingering weight
I'm a wannabe crafter who has been knitting incessantly since 2009. While my job is exciting and keeps me in the office most of my waking hours, it's just as thrilling to sit in a quiet corner with my knitting needles in the evening. Now if only I could find the time (and the courage) to start designing my own knitwear.
