These beautiful two color mittens are reminiscent of a pair I saw in a museum in the style of the popular Selbu mittens of the 1800s. The front of each mitten is an intricate diamond shaped motif, while the palm is worked in a simple 4-stitch repeat. The thumb and thumb gusset are worked in a separate motif, as are the cuffs.
