I was working in a remote area of Alaska and was told it was desert-like in the summer....It rained so much that we had major flooding....thus the name.
I was inspired be the long color changes of the NORO yarns.

I also am a batik on silk artist. Something I have been playing with for over 20 years. And while I have never taken a class I have invented my own personal style.
