Pattern Description:

A slouchy beret with a simple lace pattern that decreases into the center.

A good project for someone wanting to tackle lace for the first time, or a more experienced knitter wanting a quick lace project.


5 stitches per inch in STockinette before blocking

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Small, Medium, and Large


  • 180 yards of worsted weight yarn
  • Size US 6 / 4.0 mm circular needles with a 16" cable
  • Size US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needle with 16" cable
  • Size US 7 / 4.5 mm doube pointed needles
  • 4 stitch markers - 1 different to mark beginning of round
  • tapestry needle for weaving in ends
