Pattern Description:

A curved scarf that can be worn multifarious ways. Wrapped around, the garter stitch provides warmth at the neck whilst the lace gives a delicate edge. Worn more traditionally as a scarf, the short rows create a gentle ruffling effect.

The sample was made with Schoppel-Wolle Zauberball in the SchokoCreme/1993 colourway.

The pattern includes a blocking schematic and offers the option of charted or written directions.


16 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in Garter Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Width 10-24cm (8-91/2 inches) Length (measured along the garter stitch inner edge) 1m65cm (65 inches)


  • 4,5mm (US7) needles or as required to get gauge

You Will Also Need:

  • one stitch marker
  • Blocking board/mat and pins

Suggested yarn:

480 yards of Fingering weight
