Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit
  • purl
  • slip stitch without working it
  • cast on and bind off
  • k2 together
  • knitting through the back loop of a stitch

Pattern Description:

This soft shawlette seems as basic and essential as a morning cup of coffee or tea. The slip stitch pattern is simple, and the shape is a classic triangle.

The character and size of the shawland the knitting experiencechange dramatically with your choice of yarn weight, with instructions given for DK and Fingering.
