My beloved son tends to 'run hot', and refused to wear gloves as a baby. I tried pinning them to his sleeves, attaching them to strings through his coat - but he cunningly managed to lose at least one, every time.
So I came up with this idea - convertible mitts. They feature a second cuff, over the fingers. With the finger-cuff rolled out, they provide the same coverage as a mitten, Folded back, they're fingerless mitts that allow the little pinkies to fly free!
Embroidered with a cartoon favourite, they're bound to keep your toddler amused and warm on the coldest - or mildest! - winter days!

My latest design has been selected as the top prize in Midwestern Knit's Kickstarter! Check it out here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/73422015/midwestern-knits
