Pattern Description:
This is a beautiful shawl made of mitered squares. The shawl is easy to make and the project can be a stash buster, if you want. Although I have made it in fingering weight yarn, you can use any weight of yarn you like.
Gauge:
Each side of each square = 3" (8 cm) with size 4 needles or size to obtain gauge
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Wing span: 73" (185 cm)
- Depth (Neck to bottom edge): 32" (81 cm)
Materials:
- 925 yd (846 m) 100% wool, super fine (fingering) weight yarn in Jute Heather (A)
- 370 yd (338 m) 100% wool, super fine (fingering) weight yarn in Red (B)
- 185 yd (169 m) 100% wool, super fine (fingering) weight yarn in Navy Blue (alt. B)
You Will Also Need:
- Knitting needles size 4 (3.5 mm)
- Crochet hook size C (2.75 mm)
