Pattern Description:

Mister or Missus Mittens are the matching companion to the Mister or Missus Toque.

They begin with a twisted rib cuff and feature a unique cable that climbs over the top of the hand, all worked in twisted stitches. The cables add stretch and provide a comfortable, snug fit. Using a worsted weight yarn, the Mister or Missus Mittens are rustic yet classic, making them perfect for little ones through to adults, men and women alike."

Gauge:

20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette Stich

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Baby [Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult Medium, Adult Large
  • Finished hand width: 4.25 [5, 6, 6.75, 7.5, 8.25]"

Materials:

  • 90 - 165 yards (82 - 151 m) Worsted weight yarn
  • US 6 (4mm) circular or double pointed needles OR size needed to obtain gauge; 16" (40cm) length
  • US 4 (3.5mm) circular or double pointed needles OR 2 sizes smaller than those needed to obtain gauge; 16" (40cm) length
