Pattern Description:

Try one of these zippy little baglets, all knitted together and requiring minimal finishing. Big-sister, Maxi bags (of any size) may be made in the same manner, full directions are given for a Mini (pictured), a Maxi, or designing your own. Depending on the yarn used, the bag may be felted if desired.

If your bag is to be felted on completion, use a larger-than-usual needle size. If you do not wish to felt the bag, use a smaller-than-usual needle to make a firm bag fabric.

  • This bag will work with ANY yarn weight. If felting, choose a wool yarn (not indicated as Superwash). Using a handpainted or a gradually shaded yarn or a series of different colours will emphasise the mitred corners.
