Millepertuis is a simple triangular shawl worked from the top down in an original stitch found in my French vintage stitchionary from the '60s. The shawl pattern takes it's name after the name of the stitch pattern in the stitchionary and is also the name of a pretty field flower found about everywhere in France.
The shawl is finished by a moderate ruffle that evolve naturally from the lace portion of the body. It makes for a feminine and versatile accessory! This shawl is designed to make the most of a single 100gr skein of fingering weight yarn, but can be easily adapted to any size by increasing or decreasing the number of repeats of the body of the shawl.
18 sts and 30 rows blocked in millepertuis pattern equals 4 inches square

I have been designing since 2008 and started being more professionally interested during the year 2010. I focus my designs on my own selfish interests: garments and accessories for boys (or unisex, of course), women and occasionally men.
