I have lots of mitts. I love so many things about them that I feel like I can(tm)t actually have enough of them.
And I have a three year old daughter, who(tm)s going to kindergarten for a couple of months and is desperetaly in love with everything pink since then.
So I was not surprised when she came to me the other day and demanded a pair of mitts for herself. I showed her my stash and she instantly chose, surprise, three tones of red. She let me know that she wanted a flower, too, and as she(tm)s not a very patient person I started knitting instantly
She stood beside me, tapping her little feet, complaining all the time that she couldn(tm)t see any flower yet. But the first mitt grew quickly and her eyes sparkled as I started with the embroidery. Oh mommy, but there is not point in the middle of the flower!, and as I quickly applied one: Ah-ah, and where is the flower stalk?
But finally everything was done and a little girl was happy! :-)

As soon as I started knitting I was bitten by the bug, my stash grew continuously and very soon I found out: It's not possible NOT to design! I love the creative freedom I have, the million possibilities to combine color, shape and material and the everlasting process of learning something new.
