This is a work of love. It is fairly time - consuming to knit a lace scarf, but oh what joy and pride goes into the wearing! This is my summer wardrobe staple - it makes everything I wear it look great. Do use a lovely linen blend - it adds to the texture and drape, and the design appears crisp and luxurious with a natural sheen.
30sts and 42 rows = 10cm in 2.5mm needles.
Because this is not a 'fitted' product, the gauge can vary a little ( one or two stitches either way won't detract ). Just make sure that the needle size does not obscure the lace pattern by being too big or too small. You know what I mean!

I have crafted since I can remember - from beautiful childhood mudpies, to the now, in which I craft mostly with fibre - wool in particular. Places, circumstance, ideology - all these change through time and experience, but the one constant is this: I like making.
My pattern designs are inspired by nature, music, laughter colours and memories.
