Beginner
Elegant, versatile, and playful, this delicacy of a scarf makes a sumptuous accessory for your year-round wardrobe. The Meringue Scarf features a lace stitch that has a lovely and refined look. Dainty ruffles adorn the scarf's edges. As lightweight and delicate as the perfect meringue dessert, this scarf makes for a most enjoyable treat.
The pattern is easy enough to be mastered by an advanced beginner, and sufficiently attractive to be enjoyed by more experienced knitters, as it provides an opportunity to learn and perfect a new stitch.

I am a wearable fiber artist, designer, and maker of hand-knit and crochet fashion accessories and clothing.
Head over heels in love with designing and creating hand-knit and
crochet accessories, clothing, and fiber jewelry, I have been
experimenting with textures, colors, shapes, and drape since 2007. Each
piece in my collection is an original design, created entirely by hand, one
stitch at a time, in my one-person studio in Westchester County, New
York. I work almost exclusively with natural materials, including merino
wool, baby alpaca, silk, cashmere, and fine cottons. New styles are
added to the collection throughout each year, and include a variety of
scarves, cowls, shawls, shrugs, hats, gloves, fiber jewelry, and other
innovative pieces. I have worked on a number of custom commissions,
including bride and bridesmaid accessories (shawls, wraps, and more).
My designs are carried by select boutiques, and have been featured in
numerous online and several print publications. My undergraduate (B.A/B.S, Fordham University) and graduate (M.A., New York University) degrees are in the humanities (psychology & literature).
I exhibit my original designs at juried fine craft & art exhibitions around the United States, including the American Craft Council shows, CraftBoston, and others. In 2013, you can meet me at the following events:
American Craft Council Show, Baltimore, MD, February 22-24, 2013
CraftBoston Spring Show, Boston, MA, April 19-21, 2013
Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst, Tarrytown, NY, September 20-22, 2013
