Inspired by the tam worn by Mary Lennox in the 1993 movie of "The Secret Garden", this easy-knit hat looks stunning on children and adults alike.
Made in a bulky-weight yarn, it knits up quickly, and makes a great gift.

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THIS PATTERN: Knit, purl, make a gauge swatch in Stockinette Stitch.
PATTERN REQUIREMENTS: 5.0 mm and 6.5 mm dpns OR size needed to obtain gauge; 6.5 mm 29" circular needle (optional); yarn needle; 1 (1, 2,) ball(s) Bernat Softee Chunky OR yarn with same gauge; scrap of yarn for a marker
Note: For the medium size, you may need to undo your gauge swatch to finish the hat. If you would rather not, buy two balls for that size, as well.
