Pattern Description:

This pattern began as a challenge from my pastor during his sermon to take a $1 (he was giving them to everyone) and "do good". So I decided to invest the $1 in Ravelry advertising for a fast, fun, fabulous scarf pattern donating all the proceeds to a non-profit organization. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, I decided we would start there. As my mind moved to pink ribbons, a design popped into my head which is rather unusual for me and my design process.

The following week at Stitches East, I tried out the concept. It worked! It was fast and fun to knit and the finished "fabric" was very interesting. As I shared my story with various friends, more and more people got on board with the idea. So far over $125 has been donated, I hope you will want to be apart of this opportunity to "do good".
