Gauge:

14 rows x 12 sts = 4in/10cm in stockinette knit worked flat with yarn held single stranded, and unblocked.

12 rows x 8 sts = 4in/10cm in ribbing pattern stitch worked flat, with yarn held double, and unblocked.
