Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic knitting skills, ribbing stitch, knitting in the round with circular needles

Pattern Description:

Summer may be coming to an end but making waves will be a snap this winter with an easy to knit ruffled cowl. Using all the basic stitches, you can create frilly fun that will keep you cozy on a long winter's night. So grab yourself some soft and luxurious yarn, indulge in some hot chocolate and whip up a cool new accessory for the months ahead.

Gauge:

22 sts and 30 rounds = 4" (10 cm) on US 6 (4mm) needles in stockinette stitch

Materials:

  • Malabrigo Silky Merino, 51% Silk, 49% Merino Wool (150 yds/137 m, 1.76oz/50g skein), color Sand: 2 skeins
  • (2) - US 6 (4.00 mm) circular needles, 16 or 20"; or size required to obtain gauge

You Will Also Need:

  • Stitch markers (2), yarn needle

300 yards of DK weight
