Pattern Description:

I love to make these bags and give them as gifts to my friends. They are the perfect size for knitting projects or to bring books or magazines on a trip, or pretty much anything you can think of!

The felting process makes a good, thick fabric, which can handle a surprising amount of weight.

The pattern makes the bag, with instructions for adding a single optional stripe. You can use your imagination for embellishing the bag or adding more stripes. I've used crocheted or knitted flowers, needle felting, ribbons, beaded trim, buttons, etc. Designing your own bag is part of the fun of this pattern!

  • US Size 11 Circular Needles
  • US Size 11 Straight Needle (for 3 needle bind-off
