This pattern is one, that I designed, for those of you who are art yarn lovers, or spinners, who wonder, just what you can do with a small amount of it!

This sweet hat features gentle ribbing, for fit, and a sweet, dotted ruffley ribbon, which you can arrange, how you like!

The Lucy pattern takes all of the guesswork out of working with your super bulky, art yarn!
Art yarn spinners will give you the Wraps per inch, for their yarns, but if you are in doubt, or have some yarn, you aren't sure about, you can simply knit up a swatch, and match the gauge.
This pattern also comes with a long list of appropriate yarns!

Note: If you have less than 25 yards of art yarn, you can still make this hat! I used about 22 yards.

Materials:

25-30 Yards, super bulky, hand spun art yarn, 5 WPI (pattern includes a list of yarn suggestions)

You Will Also Need:

1 Set, Size 15, Double Pointed Needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
1 Tapestry Needle
3/4 Yard, 1", Ruffled, Dotted, Organza Ribbon (Buyer's Guide Included)
