Pattern Description:

I was in my physical therapist's office, knitting as usual and one of the administrators asked with I knew what an infant pod was and if I could make 2 for her 2 nephews due the latter part of 2012. I had never knit one and wanted to do something special. This pattern is one of the pods I designed for her. This is a great pattern to keep baby from kicking off covers. It is small enough to fit in an infant carrier. It makes an adorable baby shower gift and is perfect for bringing baby home.

I have been crafting for almost 50 years, which includes knitting, crocheting and sewing. Any craft I can do with my hands has given me joy. I have always played with designing even as a child, but have seriously devoted time to knit design the last 5 years. I knit and sew for my 3 children (now grown) and my 5 grandchildren.
