My local diner makes the best limeades in town. With plenty of fresh limes, the refreshing fizz of club soda, and practically any fruit flavor you want to add (my favorite is strawberry), it?s topped off with a scoop of lime sherbet, making it difficult to resist buying anything but the largest size.
Here, meandering yarn over ?bubbles? make their way across the body of the triangular shawl, accompanied by the texture of Estonian Button Stitches. The center panel ripples with the pattern in a most interesting way, and the whole piece gets finished off with one of two bold lace edgings.
Written specifically for handspun yarn, this shawl is offered in two sizes and would be just as gorgeous in any commercially spun fingering weight yarn. Just check the gauge on your swatch to make sure your substitution fits the bill!
8-page PDF includes line-by-line written instructions and detailed charts for each step.
