from Zibeline Knits
(6) Name: 'Knitting : Lila

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • yarn over, ssk, k2tog

Pattern Description:

I was looking for an easy lace pattern that would accentuate my hand-painted yarn line "Gypsy". This zig-zag pattern seems to be the perfect fit for hand paints, not to mention a simple knit that any beginning knitter who is ready to move on to trying the yarn over and knit-two-together stitches can knit up in no time. The light-weight yarn makes this the perfect spring take-along project for commuters (please don't knit and drive!) and college students.

Blocked: 3 inches = 21 stitches x 20 rows (1 pattern repeat).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Blocked: 9 inches x 42 inches

  • One skein (240 yards) Zibeline Knits Gypsy Australian merino fingering weight yarn or yarn of similar weight and type.

You Will Also Need:

  • US 4 (3.5 mm) straight needles
