As a knitter with 3 decades of knitting passion, I am awed and inspired by the creative processes of knitting, spinning, designing, and dying! My patterns have been published across the best of the internet craft sites and in print, particularly in collaboration with KnitPicks.com and are also available from my artisan yarn company, Cedar Hill Farm Company at www.cedarhillyarns.com, and Ravelry. Visit my website: http://www.cedarhillfarmcompany.com.
My designs are the product of knitting to meet the needs of friends and family and, of course, others like myself who know and love the value of hand knits. I know you will love my patterns as much as I do!
I was looking for an easy lace pattern that would accentuate my hand-painted yarn line "Gypsy". This zig-zag pattern seems to be the perfect fit for hand paints, not to mention a simple knit that any beginning knitter who is ready to move on to trying the yarn over and knit-two-together stitches can knit up in no time. The light-weight yarn makes this the perfect spring take-along project for commuters (please don't knit and drive!) and college students.
Blocked: 3 inches = 21 stitches x 20 rows (1 pattern repeat).
