Leopard mitts

from Sandra Jaeger's Strickstuebchen
(6) Name: 'Knitting : Leopard mitts
Leopard mitts Leopard mitts
Leopard mitts Leopard mitts

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • some experience with stranded knitting (two colors in one row)

Pattern Description:

I had alway been dreaming about leopard mitts. Now I put my dream into knitting!

The paw pattern at the bottom of the mitts add a little more excitement to the mitts than the leopard spots would have done alone.
They have a thumb gore so they fit really nicely and look great being worn.

Measurement: width 10 cm (about 20 cms hand circumreference)
For bigger hands use bigger needle size or 5ply yarn or both.

Note: I used Opal light brown sock yarn and black and white sock yarn Sckli from Buttinette.

And the whole pattern has at most two colors in one round! So it's easier to knit than you think!
