Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knitting garter stitch, reserving stitches
  • knitting 2 together

Pattern Description:

Inspired by the Latifa scarf on knitty.com (I asked permission to adjust the pattern). This is a narrower scarf than the original and knit with my hand dyed Salsa yarn. It's an easy scarf for a beginner as it is mostly garter stitch with ruffles added afterwards. Sample shown knit with the Pansy colorway with Sorta Solid Violet for the ruffles.


  • size 6 needles
